PLACE-MAKING: THE CENTRAL 9TH STORY
Beginning in 2011, Atlas Architects embarked on a journey to build a neighborhood center in Central 9th by partnering with the Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency, co-developers, and private businesses. In addition, we recruited and assisted other businesses and non-profit organizations to relocate and develop Central 9th into a vibrant mixed use urban neighborhood; characterized by outdoor dining and gathering spaces, authentic construction, purpose driven design, and walkability.
